Project

model nasa.png

The project that we are going to present today is a self-repairable space suit using the principle of cold welding. Usually, the space suit has a thickness of 13 layers ,so we will add a self-repairable layer between 4th and 5th layers because the 5th layer is Reinforced layer, if destroyed to the fifth layers, it will affect layer 4,Which is the pressure regulator layer So we came up with a layer that could help keep the leak shut, otherwise if the suit leaks within 15 seconds, it would instantly cause the astronaut to lose consciousness.

In principle, when the suit leaks to the last layer, the air inside the suit push yourself outside due to the difference in the pressure inside the set and outside the vacuum. The air in the suit will move into the lower pressure area and pushes the metal sheet surface against the outermost layer . And keep pushing until it meets the tear marks Because outside space there is an environment in which oxidation is not possible. Thus giving an opportunity for the same pure metal Transfer electrons to each other And stick together until they can't be separated In addition, the loaded tire will be pushed out against the metal. Later, the air inside the suit was pushed out into contact
